Mapelastic AQUADEFENSE ZERO is a ready-to-use, fast-drying liquid membrane designed for waterproofing damp areas like bathrooms, showers, laundries, saunas, balconies, and terraces before installing surface coverings.

This one-component, blue paste dries quickly, forming a flexible membrane that is ready for ceramic tiles, stone, and mosaics within hours.

Easy to apply using a long-pile roller, brush, or trowel on horizontal, vertical, and sloping surfaces.

Compatible with various substrates, including concrete, cementitious screeds, special binder screeds, cementitious render, internal plasterboard, and existing finishes.

• Application temperature range: from +5°C to +35°C at +23°C and 50% R.H.
• Waiting time between first and second coat: approximately 60 minutes (at +23°C and 50% R.H.)
• Waiting time before laying coating: 3-4 hours (at +23°C and 50% R.H.)
• Minimum applicable thickness: 0.8 mm in 2 coats
• Complete drying of 1mm thick layer: 12 hours
