ARDEX K 65 stands out as an innovative smoothing and levelling compound, reinforced with fibres, tailored for internal usage. It stands out due to its integration of MICROTEC technology, a specialised feature aimed at efficiently and promptly achieving a smooth and level surface on both new and existing substrates, making them ready for the subsequent floor finish application. Notably, ARDEX K65 is also compatible with timber substrates, and under standard conditions, it becomes walkable in approximately 2 hours at a temperature of 23°C.

Thickness/weight:
- From 3.0 – 20mm in one application without aggregate. For areas requiring a thickness over 20mm to a maximum of 50mm onto sand/cement engineered screeds or concrete, ARDEX K 65 must be mixed with a well washed and dried 2 – 5mm aggregate.
Coverage:
- Approximately 1.4kg of ARDEX K 65 powder/m2/mm, e.g. one bag will cover approximately 4.5m2 at 3mm thickness.
Drying Times:
- Drying time is dependent on jobsite temperature, humidity, installation thickness and floor covering type. (Based on 23°C and 50% RH.) Walkable from 2-3 hours. Conventionally laid carpet and floating floors can be installed after 24 hours. Direct stick applications such as vinyl flooring after 48 hours.
