The flatness of a non-sloping substrate is measured by sliding the wedge under a 2m ruler

Instructions: To meet Australian Standards for installation of Resilient Floor Coverings AS 1884, slide a 2m ruler across the subfloor and when there is a gap, slide the wedge under the edge of the ruler.
