In order to correctly scribe and seam sheet vinyl, this tool trims off the factory selvedge's. The blade is automatically positioned at the ideal distance from the edge for trimming off the selvedge's when the material's selvedge's edge is put into the guide slot. The replaceable U-shaped blade creates a precise cut that is square and parallel to the floor. The selvedge's are easily removed by merely pulling the tool through the material.
