The welding rod is passed through the hollow handle and positioned beneath the brass pressure roller. The pressure roller features a groove that directs and exerts pressure on the welding rod, securing it into the cove seam region. While the roller maintains pressure on the rod, a heat gun with a pencil-tip nozzle is used to weld it securely. Weight: 2 ounces.
Use to roll the vinyl welding thread tightly into the groove in awkward areas, such as up coved walls.
Welding rod feeds through handle around roller for cove welding, repairs, etc. Can be used with round or half round welding rod.
