Stretching in unsupported locations, such as across from glass windows or in mobile homes, is made possible by this portable instrument since it extends from wood subfloors rather than from the wall. Heat treatment of the pointed steel prong makes it heat resistant and long-lasting. Any Junior Stretcher fits the Stretcher Hook. The body of Stretcher Hook is made of metal and has a black anodized exterior. In subfloors made of Oriented Strand Board (OSB) and other materials where the single prong of the No. 737 Stretcher Hook can slip, the double prong design assures the best grip.
Caution: For use only on wood subfloors. This tool works by piercing the carpet and pad with the prong anchoring in the wood subfloor. They should be used only with appropriate approval.
